T-Mobile has just announced Samsung’s two new mid range Android phones few days ago. One was the Samsung Exhibit 4G, coming in Black and Violet, and the Samsung Gravity Smart. Now there is another mid range Android phone coming to T-Mobile, Samsung Dart, aka Samsung T499 or Galaxy Mini.
Uncovered photos of the Dart do seem to point out that the smartphone’s specifications tend to be similar in line with that of the Samsung Galaxy Mini. Among these include a relatively small low-resolution QVGA display and a 600MHz processor that plods along when you compare it to other handsets in the market.
The Samsung Dart is the T-Mobile version of the Galaxy Mini, and it will come in gray. The Samsung Dart will feature a 240x 320 screen, with 2MP Camera, no flash, 3G bands, Bluetooth 2.1, Android 2.2.
This Samsung Dart expected to be released by June 15th. This will be an extremely affordable handset for all, where it will sport capacitive Android buttons, with the possibility of an unlocked handset going for around $200.

DevTeam has recently released another version of Redsn0w which let you JailBreak your iDevice running on the iOS 5 developer version and it uses the same limera1n bootrom exploit and the JailBreak is tethered, but you need to use Redsn0w everytime you boot your device to properly function every feature again. Redsn0w 0.9.8b1 doesn’t activate any of the iDevice, is only meant for developers who have a UDID from Apple to JailBreak their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad………..
Apple‘s new beta version of iOS 5 has been jailbroken for the second time this week, now opening the door for users to jailbreak their iOS 5 devices using the latest version of the popular Redsn0w tool and the redsn0w jailbreak will let users install Cydia, which allows them to use apps unapproved and unsanctioned by Apple. There are a few major caveats you should be aware of before using redsn0w 0.9.8b1:
You will very likely lose your unlockable baseband if you try to install iOS 5. There are just too many broken components (Apple’s official apps, 3rd-party App Store apps, Cydia apps, MobileSubstrate apps, etc) for this to be useful to anyone but those truly looking to fix bugs in their iOS 5 jailbroken apps. You need to be an iOS developer with a registered UDID to get past all the new activation screens. PLEASE DON’T PIRATE APPLE SOFTWARE! Only registered devs with Macs can develop iOS applications, and only those people will have legitimate access to the beta IPSWs. No new exploits are being exposed with this jailbreak (it uses geohot’s limera1n bootrom exploit), but that comes at a cost. You will need to use redsn0w to “Just boot tethered now” to be able to use many things, including Cydia and Safari. If you see a white icon for Cydia, or if Cydia or Safari crash when you open them, it’s because you didn’t boot tethered. If you have the 06.15 baseband on your 3GS, this redsn0w will get you past the iTunes restore error you’ll get when using the stock IPSW (nobody other than those with the 06.15 baseband should be going anywhere near the stock IPSW!). The way redsn0w works, you will very likely be able to use this on upcoming iOS5 betas, just by continuing to point redsn0w at the 5.0b1 IPSW. Although most people just launch redsn0w by double-clicking it, remember there are “advanced” options available to those who invoke it from the Terminal shell:
The following devices are supported:

Much has been written about the slick jailbreak app MobileNotifier, which replaces Apple’s clunky iOS notifications on jailbroken devices. The app was clearly an inspiration for the notification upgrades in iOS 5 Apple announced yesterday — the company even went as far as to hire the developer of MobileNotifier, Peter Hajas.
But Hajas wasn’t the only one behind MobileNotifier. Kyle Adams, a Nashville-based designer, spearheaded the user interface work for the app since late January. So you can imagine his surprise when Apple unveiled its revamped iOS 5 notifications yesterday, which sported quite a few similarities to MobileNotifier.
Adams was “baffled by the uncanny resemblance,” he told VentureBeat yesterday in an interview. Apple’s new drop down notifications (above) look very similar to Adam’s work on MobileNotifier (right), as does the “Notification Center” that houses all of your collected alerts (comparison below). He also noted that Apple’s use of notifications in the iOS 5 lock screen was “almost identical” to his designs.
Adams was understandably a bit annoyed when the news first hit yesterday. He published a series of tweets pointing out the LOL-worthy similarities between his and Apple’s designs. Adams went on to say that he wasn’t mad at Apple or Peter Hajas, he just wanted to “set the record straight.”
In our interview last night, Adams elaborated on his rush of emotions yesterday: “I’ll admit I was little pissed this afternoon. for a good 5-8 hours,” he wrote. “I’ve talked to a number of people about it though and I think I’m just at the point where I’m more flattered than anything. I should feel amazing that Apple saw what I did and thought ‘this sells let’s use that’.”
Many iOS developers likely felt the same yesterday, as some of the new features in iOS 5 steps on the toes of established apps and services like Instapaper, Remember the Milk and GroupMe (the New York Times has a great compilation of affected apps).
Adams tells me that he was particularly focused on bringing an Apple aesthetic to MobileNotifier. “I wanted to have a notification that fit right in with the existing look and feel so that it felt completely native. no learning curve, no “what does it do when I do this”… it would “just work” as Steve would say,” he wrote.
It’s worth pointing that Apple, Hajas and Adams were likely all inspired by the drop down notifications that Android has been sporting for some time. It looks like mobile interfaces will be a repeat of the desktop arena, where Microsoft, Apple and other companies lifted design inspirations from each other without a second thought.
With MobileNotifier’s future now up in the air, Adams tells me that he’s working on bringing his design skills to an iOS instant messaging client. He’s aiming to develop something with the simplicity of Verbs IM app, but with the slick aesthetic of TweetBot. Surprisingly, MobileNotifier was Adams’ first try at developing an app interface. With such a strong first showing, he’ll definitely be a designer to look out for in the future.

Last night Musclenerd posted a tweet saying that iOS 5 has indeed been jailbroken using the limera1n exploit. In his tweet he posted a picture of an iPod touch 4 Springboard with the Cydia icon placed nicely on it.
The full jailbreak story after the break!
The Apple keynote ended less than 24 hours ago, and the iOS 5 beta dropped to developers in even less time and the devs have already managed to jailbreak the firmware. According to @musclenerd, Cydia runs smoothly. This, however, is a tethered jailbreak and there is no word on when the tool will be released. So, if you are already jailbroken on a previous firmware, stay there, do not upgrade to iOS 5 beta 1 if you like your current jailbreak.
What do you all think of this? The jailbreak came quick, but do you think Apple will fill the hole in a new beta of iOS 5? Let us know in the comments.

Up until now, only iPhone users have been able to pilot their own Parrot AR.Drone quadrocopter, but starting next month Android owners will finally be able to get in on the augmented reality action, as well. iOS users, meanwhile, can expect a few new games to hit the device very soon.
No games have been announced for Android, but the piloting app is expected to be available starting in July. Surprisingly, the piloting app is also available for both Samsung and Nokia phones, thanks to Playsoft Games, which utilized Parrot's software development kit to create free piloting apps for both the Symbian and bada mobile operating systems. The apps for all three platforms are free to download.
And then there are the games. One of the titles we managed to check out at CES, AR.Flying Ace, is already available in the App Store for free, while the other, AR.Race, will be launching today, also free of charge. However, in addition to the app, you can also pick up some pricey physical obstacles to put into the game. A set of two pylons and one finish line will run you $59.99, while a single donut costs $49.99. These inflatable obstacles are actually recognized by the Drone's camera, and allow you to create your own circuits for up to four players to race in. Though the game launches today, the accessories won't be available to purchase until July.
For those without friends who also own a Drone, Parrot is also working on an as-of-yet untitled game that will allow two players to play together using the same quadrocopter. No details are available yet, but Parrot describes it as 'a confrontation between the man and the machine, a track race where the target is not necessarily the one originally suspected.' No word yet on when the app will be available.
